Clipping coupons is a great way to save money, but it is also time intensive. It becomes even more overwhelming when you work with multiple sets of coupons. Learn how to quickly clip your coupons in bulk and speed your way to extra savings.
Collect coupon inserts from the Sunday newspaper. You can get extra inserts from family and friends or you can purchase multiple newspapers. Typically, the coupon savings offset the cost of extra newspapers. Stack your inserts by type. Most Sunday newspapers include two or three types of coupon inserts each week.
Step2
Work with one type of insert at a time. Spread each insert out on a flat surface and collect the matching first pages. Make sure the edges line up and the coupons stack correctly with the pages under them.
Step3
Place a staple through each coupon you intend to cut. Be sure not to staple through the bar code or your coupon may not scan properly at the register. You now have three or four of the exact same coupon stapled together. Continue stacking and stapling through all the pages of inserts.
Step4
Cut the coupons once all of the inserts are stapled. Your coupons will stay in neat bundles until you are ready to use them.
Step5
Sort your coupon bundles and store them in an organizer or binder.
Tips & Warnings
Clip all coupons, even brands you don't normally use. Stores run sales for different brands each week and coupling a sale with coupons can make many items nearly free.
Take all of your coupons each time you go shopping. A great deal on the clearance shelf turns into a phenomenal deal when paired with a coupon.
Most stores allow you to use the same number of coupons as items. For example, if you are purchasing two bottles of shampoo you may use two coupons.

This is an awesome system which saves me lots and lots of time! I REGULARLY buy over $100 in groceries for less than $10. Take a look at my articles where I share how I do it: http://www.ehow.com/members/momandpopoften-articles.html
