Hi there and thanks for the comments, however I have found that neither of these strategies work for me! I have to rinse my goggles every 50m as they fog up so fast, and although spitting works when I am snorkelling, it has no effect on my swimming goggles. When my goggles were new I washed them out with toothpaste, just as I did my snorkelling mask, which perhaps was a bad idea. I have bought some anti fog spray, I've treated my goggles with it and I'll see how that works tonight. Thanks again

Hi there and thanks for the suggestions, neither of which work for me! Firstly my goggles fog up so fast that by 50m I cannot see out of them - and I rinse them after every 50m as a result. Spitting does not seem to help either (although it works for my snorkelling mask), so I'm looking for other solutions that might work. I have recently bough some anti fogging drops which I am hoping might do the trick; I'll test it out this evening.

on 2/20/2008 I used to swim competitively and we'd all spit in our goggles, rub it in and then rise it out quickly. It worked like a charm.
