Step 1
The first thing you need to do is get your creat-a-class mode, and set that up. I have 2 main clases that I use to get me the most kills (which will give you the most points).
The first looks like this.
Weapons
M16 with Red Dot
Desert Eagle
Perk 1 - Frag x3
Perk 2 - Stopping Power
Perk 3 - Martyrdom
Stun Grenade
And my seconed one is this.
Weapons
P90 With Silencer
Desert Eagle
Perk 1 - Bandolier
Perk 2 - Stopping Power
Perk 3 - Martyrdom
Stun Grenade -
Step 2
Figure out which gametype YOU are best at, yeilding the the highest amount of points.
I recomend Staying in the following game types -
Sabatoge
Domination
Headquarters -
Step 3
Do not get caught up too much in gun based challenges. I have found that I go through an entire prestige using 2-3 guns much faster than re aclimating myself to a new gun every few games just to get the challenges from them.

Make sure you have a good team of good people to play with. this will help you in two ways...
1) If you win your match bonus is much greater
2) It helps keep your morale up and keeps the game fun.

on 5/29/2008 Yeah it really depends on what map I am on. Close range maps I go with the p90, long range ones I will go with the M16. I also only use the P90 in free for all.

on 5/29/2008 Everyone says, "use the M16." The only reason it is so good is because Colt won't allow it if it isnt the best gun in the game. So if you use it do so sparingly so you dont get called a noob with no skill
