Ever get motor oil on your hot scooters pipes? I have an easy way to get that ugly crap off of them.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Newspaper, masking tape and a can of EZOFF oven cleaner.
  1. Step 1

First take newspaper and cover painted areas behind the pipes you want to spray. Next use masking tape to hold newspaper in place.

  2. Step 2

In well vented area spray oven cleaner on areas covered with the baked on oil. I like to let sprayed pipes set over night.

  3. Step 3

Now take old rags or even paper towels and wipe the nasty shmoo off of those pipes. Next remove the newspaper and toss in trash can with the rags you used. I forgot, put on some shades the chrome will be bright. You can go ahead and wash your ride then your done.

Tips & Warnings
  • Just be sure the painted areas are covered well. Some paint doesn't take well with EZoff cleaner. I thought if this stuff works on the inside of an oven, why not on my exhaust pipes. And by golly it worked pretty good. Take your time there's no reason to rush.
  • Make sure you're in a well vented area. Outside would be perfect.

on 2/28/2008 Hey doubleM,LOL, How far are we going to take this friendly banter?RAID?,How the heck, before long we'll be talking about how far away should our neighbors close their windows because we used air freshener and dusting spritz. Maybe combined these two products turn into anthrax! With that in mind keep some cipro in the bathroom medicine cabinette. LOL,LOL,LOL,LOL,

on 2/28/2008 Hey CC - Raid is sold in grocery stores too. Raid is made to use inside the house as well. There made be times you want to spray it during the winter.............. I don't think I want to hang around in a room even it is was a "pitsy spritz" at a spider.......... I would want a bit of notice to leave the room first and get my critters out as well!
