A blow dryer that is taken care of properly can last for many years. A blow dryer that is left un cleaned can eventually become a fire hazard.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Tooth brush
  • Q-tips
  • Alcohol spray
  • Clean towel
  • Scissors
  1. Step 1

    Un plug the dryer- ALL MAINTENANCE SHOULD BE PREFORMED ON A DRYER THAT IS UNPLUGGED.

  2. Step 2

    Remove the air in- take on your blow dryer

  3. Step 3

    Lay it out on a clean towel

  4. Step 4

    Use a tooth brush and alcohol to loosen and remove any built up dirt on the air vent

  5. Step 5

    Run under water to rinse off all remaining dust & dirt.

  6. Step 6

    Then with a Q-tip sprayed with alcohol, clean the areas of the blow dryer that you can reach and see.

  7. Step 7

    If you can see stray hairs inside the dryer, clip as much out with a pair of scissors

  8. Step 8

    8. Let everything dry & re-assemble
