How to get above Wailing Caverns in World of Warcraft

"I can see the yellow exclamation mark but I can't find the quest giver!" This is something I have heard any number of times from people around the wailing caverns. Here's how to get to them.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

• a character with a high enough level to safely wander around the barrens

1. wailing caverns Climb the mountain. The cave you need is actually on top of the entrance to the Wailing Caverns so you will need to get above it then drop down. I have found it easiest to just climb to the top of the mountain. There are a number of ways to do this. Choose one of the arms that comes out to scale as they are not a steep. If one doesn't work for you then choose another one.
2. wailing caverns from the mountain top Go down the arm of the mountain that connects with the Wailing Caverns entrance.
3. jumping from the "v" Get on top of the rock face. When you find the part that is indented like a v jump down onto a ledge from that.
4. face the correct cave Turn to the right. You will see a cave entrance. Jump down again and you will be in the correct cave.

Tips & Warnings

• If at first you don't succeed, try, try again. The deviate scale leatherworking recipes are well worth the effort if nothing else. Even if you are not a leatherworker they sell for a nice bit on the Auction House.
• If you jump down in the wrong spot or in the wrong direction you will find yourself back on the ground by the Wailing Caverns entrance so be sure to jump in the right spot and facing the right direction.
