Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Things You’ll Need:
- ebay sellers account
- digital camera (optional)
Step1
Gather all clothes that you would like to sell. Make sure they are clean and do not have a lot of wrinkles on them. Decide whether these will be sold separately or in a group (or lot). TIP: Clothing tends to sell better as a lot rather than separated; the exception being high priced name brand items.
Step2
Take digital photos of each item or group that you plan to list. Make these photos as flattering as possible to increase buyers interest. Upload these to your computer.
Step3
Log on to your eBay account and click start selling. This will lead you through each step of your listing process, including coming up with an interesting title, adding a picture, etc.
Step4
When finished list your item and wait for responses. Usually items listed on the weekend and run to the following weekend have a higher sale rate.
Step5
At the end of your auction, contact the buyer by sending them an invoice telling them how much they owe and what payment methods you accept. Once they pay, pack up the clothes and ship them to the buyer.
Step6
Finally enjoy the money that you receive. You can go buy yourself a new piece of clothing!!

on 4/9/2008 I think a good tip is to get a cheap manaquin or bust. It's the best way to get clothes to look really flattering! Laying on the bed, just doesn't cut it. Especially for plus size clothes.
