How to sell plus size clothing on eBay

Selling plus size clothing on eBay can be a challenging, yet rewarding experience. With the right tools and mindset, you can get rid of all those old clothes and make some money at the same time!

Things You’ll Need:

• ebay sellers account
• digital camera (optional)

1. Gather all clothes that you would like to sell. Make sure they are clean and do not have a lot of wrinkles on them. Decide whether these will be sold separately or in a group (or lot). TIP: Clothing tends to sell better as a lot rather than separated; the exception being high priced name brand items.
2. Take digital photos of each item or group that you plan to list. Make these photos as flattering as possible to increase buyers interest. Upload these to your computer.
3. Log on to your eBay account and click start selling. This will lead you through each step of your listing process, including coming up with an interesting title, adding a picture, etc.
4. When finished list your item and wait for responses. Usually items listed on the weekend and run to the following weekend have a higher sale rate.
5. At the end of your auction, contact the buyer by sending them an invoice telling them how much they owe and what payment methods you accept. Once they pay, pack up the clothes and ship them to the buyer.
6. Finally enjoy the money that you receive. You can go buy yourself a new piece of clothing!!

Tips & Warnings

• Make your photos flattering!
• Try to allow your clothing auction to end on a weekend.
• Try to have auctions of "lots" or groups of clothes; these sell better.
• Make sure you do all emails through eBay' s website so there is no problem with spammers or someone who is threatening to you.
• Watch out for buyers with low feedback scores; they often bid but do not pay.
