How to set up and organize sites with Firefox

With all the useful sites on the web, it is hard to keep them organized. By keeping your favorite sites in related folders (in the tab bar), it will be hard to loose and/or forget about the site. This article will cover basic useful options in Firefox. You will learn how to make Firefox personal and keep all your sites in order.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Download Firefox at: Mozilla.2008Firefox.com
Step1
Download Firefox.
Open the Browser and go through the introduction.
Step2
In the Tab bar (below the Address bar), Right clip on it and choose "new folder".
Step3
Rename your folder to your preference.
For example you could call it Recipe site, Research sites, News site, Music sites, Video Sites, Picture sites, Social site, etc...
Here you will keep all you favorite sites together, rather than having a list of all random site to go through.
Step4
When you find yourself in a site you would like to save. Left click on the icon next to the address and drag it down to your created folder. Make sure to save it in it's suitable topic.

  • You will not loose or forget about any sites.
