How to Clean a Kitchen Floor
Step1
Get the big things. Take a broom or a vacuum and get those crumbs off before busting out the mop.
Step2
Prepare your solution. Take your cleanser and measure it with warm water at a one to four ratio. Depending on the size of your floor, you may need more.
Step3
Immerse your sponge in the solution and give it a good squeeze. Make a mental note of where you are mopping to keep from missing spots or remopping the same bits. If you have some tough stains or spots, use the scrubber gently to remove them.
Step4
Rinse your mop often in the bucket, squeezing out the excess liquid each time. If the water becomes very murky, dump it out and refill the bucket with your cleaning solution.
Step5
Let the floor dry without walking across. If need be, block the doorway with chairs to keep everyone out until it’s safe.
