Things You'll Need:
- Kahuna board game
- An opponent
-
Step 1
Shuffle the deck, deal three cards to each player and turn three cards face up.
-
Step 2
Play as many cards as you like on your turn, then draw any one of the face-up cards or the top card of the deck. If you draw a face-up card, replace it with the top card of the deck. Each card you play lets you place a bridge connecting to that island.
-
Step 3
Use hand prints. This is the fun part of the game. Whenever a placed bridge gives you a majority of the total possible bridges on an island, you claim it with a hand print. This knocks off all opposing bridges connected to the island, and counts as your island during scoring rounds until the hand print is removed.
-
Step 4
Remove an opposing bridge by playing two island cards that touch the bridge. If removing a bridge removes a majority on an island, the hand print is removed as well.
-
Step 5
Know that scoring happens whenever the deck and table run out of cards. 1 point for first round majority, 2 points for second round and 1 point for each island in the third round.
