Many college students look forward to spending spring break with their friends. One of the main spring break destinations among college students is Mexico. With its beautiful beaches and warm weather, what more could you want? Unfortunately, Mexico can also be a very dangerous place during the time that spring break occurs, especially for college girls. By following one or more of these tips, you will be more likely to prevent being raped during spring break in Mexico.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

Things You’ll Need:

  • Large group of friends

Step1
Go to Mexico with a large group of friends. Safety in numbers is very important when it comes to preventing rape. No one in your group of friends should go anywhere by themselves, especially at night. When you do go out, it’s best to go with at least one other person, though it is much better for the entire group to go together.
Step2
Limit the amount of alcohol that you and your friends will drink. It’s best for you to agree as a group how much you will drink. Although your intentions for spring break may be to drink, it’s likely that you don’t want to get drunk to the point where may not know what you are doing.
Step3
Make the agreement that at least one friend will stay sober during every night that you are on spring break in Mexico. Although everybody will want to watch out for everyone else, someone who is sober will be able to have a better idea of what is going on. While a friend might not be able to prevent you from being raped during spring break in Mexico, she may be able to remind you of the actions that you are making.
Step4
Never accept a drink from someone that you don’t know. Even if you do know him, it’s important to be wary.
Step5
Exercise your own judgment. If something doesn’t feel right, then don’t do it. Keep in mind that you may not be able to know exactly what is going on or make your own decisions when you’re under the influence of alcohol.

Tips & Warnings

  • Be sure to do research on the area. Try to avoid places that are known to get a bit rowdy.
  • Consider choosing somewhere besides Cancun for spring break, as it will be incredibly crowded.
  • Only stay at a hotel that can be recommended to you by a reputable travel agency.
  • Have the number to the local police available in case of emergencies.
  • Don’t flash money around or do anything that will bring attention to yourself.
