How to Prepare An Appletini or apple martini

An apple martini is a sweet and fruity cocktail that is really not much like a regular martini at all. It is fun and tasty so there is no wonder that it is such a trendy drink. There are different variations on the appletini, and here are a few that I love to make when I host a party.

• Different ingredients for different versions.

1. 

   Be careful, it is easy to down them fast since they taste like a dessert then a cocktail. It goes down very smooth and if you have a couple you won't realize it until you stand up. So try to sip slowly, if you can.

   Green apple martini ~

   2 oz. vodka
   1 oz. apple Schnapps
   splash of midori
   Good squeeze of lime juice

2. 

   Sour apple martini ~

   1 oz. vodka
   1 oz. sour apple schnapps
   1 splash sweet and sour mix

3. 

   Appletini ~

   1 part Vodka
   1.5 parts Apple Schnapps
   2 parts Apple Juice

4. 

   With all of the drinks pour the ingredients into a shaker with ice.
   Shake well and then strain it into a cocktail glass (chilled).
   Garnish with thin slices of green apple.
