How to unfreeze or reset your iPod nano

The following steps will guide you on how to unfreeze/reset you iPod nano.

Things You'll Need:

• iPod nano
• Two free hands

1. 

   Make sure the hold button is off, which means that you shouldn’t see orange. Press the MENU and SELECT buttons on the click wheel. The image on the right shows you what to press at the same time. When your iPod is reset you will see a dark screen with the apple symbol.

2. Hold the menu and select buttons for about 5 to 10 seconds. It should not take any longer than 10 seconds to reset.

3. Your iPod nano should be reset.
