Instructions
  1. Step 1

Peace is not very difficult to find. Set some time each day to calm your mind and body to refocus your energy and "rest" the body and mind. You can start off with spending 10 to 20 minutes closing your eyes and practicing deep, slow breathing. After a while, you will find that this technique of "centering" the body and mind will have many beneficial effects to your health and help to reduce stress. In turn, you will be a lot happier and can work more efficiently.

  2. Step 2

Peace can be found when you are connected to Mother Nature. Take regular little excursions or trips to connect with the great outdoors and engage in many outdoor activities that will help you to not only improve your health, but also lift your spirit. The ocean is a wonderful place to fill the soul and feel relaxed. Taking long nature trail walks or hiking in the local woods or forests are great ways to connect with the earth.

  3. Step 3

Some active sports can also help you find peace. The body's own natural endorphines (hormones) produced during active exercising can help give you a natural sense of well-being that makes you feel peaceful, calm and serene. Jogging, running long distances and cycling are some great ways to help you achieve this state of mind.

  4. Step 4

Some types of music can also help you find peace, for example, spiritual or relaxation music is often used in healing or therapy management of patients. Some classical concertos or arias are beautiful, relaxing, peaceful music.

  5. Step 5

Global peace takes time to achieve. There are many peace movements and organizations that are trying to help unite the world to find global peace. However, it requires every person on the planet to be involved and to be proactive and in agreement before this can be achieved. We must first have inner peace in ourselves and then awareness and education if we are to succeed in finding global peace. One organization that is helping us to find both inner peace and global peace is 10 Million Clicks For Peace. They have approached the problem in an innovative and modern way by incorporating Internet technology to help solve this real problem. Details and information on this wonderful nonprofit organization can be found at 10millionclicksforpeace.org (see Resources below).
