Chalcopyrite (Peacock Ore)

Chalcopyrite is the stone of the unity of beauty and power, of feminine and masculine energy. It is a variety of copper ore, most commonly known as Peacock Ore. It mixes with other stones just fine, but it does quite well on its own.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Chalcopyrite
  • Other associated minerals
  • Small bag or pouch (optional)

    How to Use Chalcopyrite Energy

  1. Step 1

Use Chalcopyrite to still unwanted, repetive thoughts. If you are worrying, or fixating on something, Peacock Ore will break the cycle and allow you to get some perspective.

  2. Step 2

Chalcopyrite is a good stone for fostering creativity and the imagination. Wear a piece of Peacock Ore near your third eye (or inside your hat!) to maintain a creative state.

  3. Step 3

Chalcopyrite is an effective stone for lung problems and breathing difficulties. It is also an effective remedy for tiredness, especially mental fatigue.

  4. Step 4

Use Chalcopyrite as a focus for children's energy. Do you have a wintertime house full of restless little ones? Give them each a piece of Peacock Ore to play with, and paper and crayons. They'll be happy all afternoon.

Tips & Warnings
  • Use Chalcopyrite to help with physical forms of meditation, like yoga or tai chi.
  • Some people are more sensitive to mineral energy. Watch your reactions when you use these stones. If you experience anxiety or restlessness, or physical symptoms, like nausea, you may want to cut back your exposure.
