How to Find Music on Rhapsody

Do you enjoy listening to music, but find the Rhapsody interface overwhelming? This guide will help you get started using the wonderful digital jukebox, Rhapsody.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Computer with sound card
  • Subscription to Rhapsody
  1. Step 1

    Open up the Rhapsody application, and sign in if you are not signed in automatically. Wait for one moment while Rhapsody warms up.

  2. Step 2

    Click on the Music Guide tab. Explore the links that tab provides. you can find a lot of interesting music by clicking a category and following the links.

  3. Step 3

    Type the name of an artist, track or keyword into the search bar at the top right of the screen. Choose the appropriate label for the term. For example, if you are searching for Elvis Costello, type in Elvis Costello and choose artist.

  4. Step 4

    Once you get to the artist you like, check out the "influence" links to the right. There, you will find artists who influenced your chosen performer, as well as artists your favorite band influenced.

  5. Step 5

    Click on the channel guide to connect to a streaming "radio" experience. You can pick from an incredible array of song lists, and you are bound to hear music that's new for you.
