How to Warp Part of an Image Using Photoshop

Exaggerate parts of your photo using Photoshop's warp command. You won't believe your eyes!

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

    With your photo already open in Photoshop, draw a marquis (marching ants) around the section you want to warp.

  2. Step 2

    Copy and paste that selection onto a new layer.

  3. Step 3

    Go to edit/transform warp. A grid will appear over the area to warp.

  4. Step 4
    Yikes! A big monster hand courtesy of the warp command

    Push or pull the grid around to get the effect you want. Hit enter.

Tips & Warnings
  • Always duplicate your file before beginning a photo editing project.
