Things You'll Need:
- Three Cigar Boxes
-
Step 1
Begin by juggling balls, as usual. Pay close attention to how your juggling movements affect the spin of the ball. This is especially important if you want to juggle cigar boxes.
-
Step 2
Once you’ve finished practicing with the balls, set them down and pick up one cigar box. Study the dimensions of the cigar box.
-
Step 3
Begin by spinning one cigar box in the air so that it turns 90 degrees. In other words, if you are holding the length side, throw the box upwards and catch it on the width side.
-
Step 4
Master the length-width switcharoo.
-
Step 5
Add two cigar boxes to serve as your bookends. Try the length-width switcharoo using the two cigar bookends to support the middle cigar box. Just try it one go at a time.
-
Step 6
Once you have mastered this movement, try to repeat juggling the cigar boxes. Use the bookend boxes to flip the middle one. Just try the three box switcharoo until you’ve mastered it, then you can move on to more advanced tricks.
