Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Things You’ll Need:
- A open mind.
- Detailed thoughts.
Step1
Gather old cell phones: Most people have old cell phones around the house, many company's will pay good money for these. Check out: http://www.cellforcash.com/
Step2
Pick up walnuts and sell them to your local distributor. Depending on the seasons and where you live there are often things like walnuts in peoples yard that people would love for you to pick up and your group can earn some great cash and being doing community service.
Step3
Gather and recycle thins made from metal, like old washers and dryers. This is huge. You can make thousands from one house, if they have like a old fence to take down or a old washer or dryer.
Step4
Recycle cans and pop bottles. This take a little more planning and promoting but it is defiantly worth the effort.

on 4/19/2008 It really is easier to ask people for their old stuff, and the money really adds up. I'm a Relay for Life captain. This year our team is collecting cell phones, doing can-bottle drives, and we're collecting unwanted items in order to hold a donation garage sale.
