How to Keep a Glass Shower Clean

Cleaning can be monotonous and if you have a glass shower cleaning can be an even bigger pain. There is an easy way to keep the glass in your shower cleaner longer so you can spend more time doing what you really want.

Things You'll Need

• A Glass Shower
• Shower Cleaner
• Rain-X Windshield Wipes or Spray (with paper towels)

Instructions

1. Clean your shower as usual, making sure you completely remove the soap scum from the glass in shower.

2. Either dry the glass by hand or wait for the glass to air dry.

3. Once dried, take the Rain-X spray or wipes and completely wipe the shower glass from top to bottom, just as you would when cleaning a mirror or window.

4. When finished, discard the used wipe or paper towels and allow the glass to dry. The next time you take a shower, you will notice the water will not sit on the glass as before.

Tips & Warnings

• To further keep the shower cleaner longer, use a hand-held squeegee to remove water from shower walls and glass after showering.

• Depending on how often the shower is used, an application could last two weeks before you need to reapply.

• If you use Rain-X in an enclosed area, be aware that it does emit a small odor. If your respiratory system is sensitive, you may want to wear a mask when using the product.

• Never mix chemicals or cleaners, so if you clean the shower first with another product make sure to rinse it clean and allow the shower to dry before applying the Rain-X.
