Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Things You’ll Need:
- Approximately 26.5 oz can garlic and herb spaghetti sauce (you pick your brand).
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 tsp. sugar,(or 1 packet of splenda)
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 tsp. minced garlic, (or 1 tsp. garlic powder)
- chopped dry basil leaves (optional)
- 1 can stewed tomatoes, or 2 fresh tomatoes, chopped
- 16 oz box of spaghetti noodles
- 1 tsp. vegetable oil
Step1
Brown ground beef in large saucepan or skillet. Drain grease.
Step2
Add chopped onion, spaghetti sauce,tomatoes, minced garlic, basil, and 1/2 tsp. sugar to pan. Bring to a boil,then stir well and cover and let simmer over medium heat for 20-30 min. Stir occasionally.
Step3
Follow directions on box for noodle preparation, but add 1 tsp. of vegetable oil to water to keep noodles from sticking.
