Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
The ideal thing to do is bring her to get her spayed as soon as she starts this behavior if you do not want to breed her. A cat that comes into heat cal remain in heat for 5-14 days and will occur often, every two to three weeks for several months.
Step2
Her are signs to watch for ~
She will become increasingly affecinate. She may rub up against anything in sight.
She may make her mating call which is a loud cry and sometimes even a soft cry, this can go on for several days. She will be very vocal throughout the entire day.
She will lay in a mating position with her butt and tail in the air laying the rest of her body down. She may also move her hind legs as if she is walking but she doesn't move
Step3
She may roll around on the floor alot.
She will licks her vaginal area more than usual.
If she is always indoors she may be trying to get outside.
She may carry her tail to one side of her body.
Step4
Now that you know the signs to look for unless you plan on breeding your cat, you really need to consider spaying her to prevent any unwanted kittens!
