How to Eliminate Unsolicited Text Messages

It used to be illegal for people to solicit on cell phones via text or actual call but not anymore. Now people are getting text messages right and left from people who are trying to sell something. But how can this be stopped?

1. Register your cell phone with donotcall.gov for starters. After that if you get any calls then you have to call back and register a complaint to the number that the text came from.
2. No one can afford to throw money away these days Contact your cell phone provider as well and let them know what is going on, especially if you are paying extra for text messaging. If you complain enough they will reimburse you something. Plus, file complaints with the FCC.
3. Log into your account through your providers website. Search through an options or preference menu. Here you can block certain numbers or email addresses from being able to text you.
4. STOP unwanted text messages once and for all! Block the web sites that are sending these unwanted texts to you. This is where spam originates from anyways. As the texts continue to come in just continue to block them.
