Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Things You’ll Need:
- Access to a computer
- Time
- Creativity
Step1
Always type your applications! If it is a paper application scan it on to your computer or retype it onto your computer. If you cannot type it, add a typed coverpage and thankyou letter and write as neatly as possible in nice pen.
Step2
Always make a cover page for your scholarship application. Use colored Word Art. On your coverpage all you need to do is put the name of the scholarship and the applicant name. Just make it look nice!
Step3
Always fill out every blank on the application form. If it doesn't apply to you, put N/A. It makes your application look more complete and is easier to read for the committee.
Step4
Include a smiling picture on every application - if possible on each page. On the computer this is relatively easy to do.
Step5
Put a header on every page. I recommend putting your name and the same small picture you included earlier next to it, underneath the name of the scholarship in CAPS and bold and then a scrolly line underneath.
Step6
Do not put your scholarship in anything which is hard to look at (binder, folder, etc.) This will be harder for the committee, simply staple it neatly.
Step7
If there is not enough room for all your accomplishments simply write: see attached and add your Achievements to the back of the application packet. SEE HOW TO ORGANIZE YOUR SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION http://www.ehow.com/how_2203091_organize-scholarship-application.html
Step8
At the end of the application be sure to attach a "Thank you" page. Address it to the scholarship committee and sign it personally. This is a nice touch that will help you stand out from the crowd.

on 2/14/2008 It also makes a difference what ethnicity you are and how much income you make. I won a bunch of money and all I had was sports and a few clubs. That probably would be more of a essay type question though or ni your reccomendation letter
