Things You'll Need:
- Cellophane tape
- Fingernails that aren't completely trimmed
-
Step 1
Peel up a corner of the sticker with your fingernail. Make sure you get the entire sticker up and not just the top layer of it.
-
Step 2
Peel the sticker back slowly, attempting to pull up as much of the sticker as possible. Some stickers will peel easier than others. Try to keep the sticker together as a whole; avoid peeling the sticker up in tiny pieces, if possible.
-
Step 3
Remove any glue or residue left on the bag by pressing the sticky side of the removed sticker against the residue. In many cases, the residue should stick to the sticker and come up cleanly.
-
Step 4
Use a clean piece of cellophane tape to remove any residue that you were not able to remove in the previous Step. Use the sticky side of the tape in the same manner you used the original sticker. You may have to press the tape down, applying a slight amount of pressure, to get the residue to stick to it.
-
Step 5
Look for any residue that might still be left behind. Hold the Mylar bag under a bright light and move it around to see the bag from all angles. Repeat the previous two steps as necessary to remove the last bits of residue.
