Although Fortop SWF Resources Extractor can be used to extract all exportable resources from a Shockwave Flash (SWF) file, it's also possible to extract just the audio. Read on to learn more.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Working installation of Fortop SWF Resources Extractor (available from Download.com)
  1. Step 1

    With Fortop open, click the "Open" button. Navigate to the SWF that you want to open.

  2. Step 2

    Select the SWF. Click "Open." The contents of the SWF will display in the explorer area.

  3. Step 3

    Either click on the audio file that you wish to export. Or, right-click and select "Select All Audio."

  4. Step 4

    Click the "Extract" button at the top of the screen.

  5. Step 5

    Make sure that you choose "Selected Resources."

  6. Step 6

    Click the dropdown menu to navigate to the location on your hard drive where you want to save the extracted resources.

  7. Step 7

    Click "Extract."
