Shop on Craigslist.org! Craigslist users post items they want to sell or give away. Postings include pictures and descriptions of each item. Most of these items are great deals--at least 50 percent off regular price.

Take a trip to yard sales! There are great hidden treasures to be found at these events. You can bargain for even better deals.

Hit the sales at furniture stores. Even if you don't need furniture, accessories abound at many furniture boutiques. If you see a "sale" sign, go in and take a look.

Head to the home and clearance home sections at stores like Kmart, Target, TJ Maxx and Ross.
