How to Have a Saint Patty's Day House Party

  1. Step 1

Send an Evite to your friends, inviting them to your "Saint Patty's Day House Party." Tell them that they must wear green to the party.

  2. Step 2

Pick up the "Leprechaun" film series at your local movie rental store. If you prefer not to show a horror film at your party, rent a film that has a Saint Patrick's Day theme.

  3. Step 3

As guests arrive, stamp their hands with a lucky charm or green stamp. Then, pin a clover on their shirts.

  4. Step 4

Play an "Irish Myths" game. This is a "true or false" game about all things Irish. For example: True or False: According to legend, there is a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. The winner of the game should receive a prize, such as a Starbucks or Target gift card.

  5. Step 5

Irish grub may be difficult to find. So, create a food table with traditional finger foods that your guests will love. Make green punch and provide Irish beer.

  6. Step 6

Create "Pot O' Gold" party favors and give them out at the end of the party. To make the pots of gold, buy small baskets from a crafts store and spray paint them with gold spray paint. Then, after the pots have dried, fill each one with candy.
