Use Flash's "Export Image" Function

Flash's "Export Image" function allows you to select a frame or a single object, drawing or symbol in Flash and export it to an external file. Read on to learn how.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Working installation of Flash
  1. Step 1

    Click to the frame that you wish to export, or click the drawing on the stage that you wish to export.

  2. Step 2

    Click Menu->Export Image.

  3. Step 3

    In the window that appears, select a file type from the drop down menu.

  4. Step 4

    If a new window appears asking you to specify format/details on the file type, select your options and click "OK" to close the window and return to the Export window.

  5. Step 5

    Navigate to the area where you wish to save your exported image.

  6. Step 6

    Type in a name for the file.

  7. Step 7

    Click "Save" to export/save the image.
