Things You'll Need:
- 2qt Sauce Pan
- Wooden Spoon
- 1 Pint Heavy Cream
- 1/4 c. Olive Oil
- 1 c. fresh grated parmesan cheese
- Salt Pepper to taste

Step 1
With the sauce pan on the stove, pour the cream in and turn the burner on to medium-low heat. Gently stir the cream consistently so it doesn't burn, and bring to a gentle boil.

When the cream reaches a gentle boiling point, you will see small bubbles starting to form, slowly add the olive and the parmesan cheese.

Step 3
Keep simmering the sauce on low heat for about 15 minutes. Make sure to keep stirring so the cream doesn't burn. The sauce will gradually thicken, but adding additional cheese will make it thicker.
When it has reached the desired consistency, add salt and pepper to taste,

on 2/23/2009 I like the idea of useing Olive oil in the Alfredo sauce. I always make it with butter instead.
