How to Make a Thank You Basket

Sometimes a card just doesn't cut it. If you have had someone in your life do something super special for you, why not make them a thank you basket? This is a really simple idea that any recipient will love!

Things You'll Need:

• Basket (found at any craft supply store)
• Tissue Paper (any color)
• Ribbon (a complementary color to the tissue and basket)
• Goodies (such as candy or trinkets)
• Fresh baked cookies, brownies or crispy rice treats
• Thank you card
• Small amount on a gift certificate

1. This is so simple! First, take the basket and line it with tissue. Put a lot of tissue in it and make it look neat and tidy.

2. Add your goodies. It can be anything they enjoy. Do they love chocolate? Is there a movie on DVD they have been dying to see? Do they like puzzles or crosswords? Add anything you think the recipient would like!

3. Add a homemade touch. Do you make the world's best chocolate chip cookies? How about fudge brownies? Make a batch and add an few wrapped in plastic wrap.

4. Find a nice thank you card and add it to the basket. Then add a ribbon to the top. Voila! That's all it takes. This is so much more personal than a card or an email. Remember, you can make these gift baskets for any occasion! All it takes is a little imagination!
