Things You'll Need:
- 3 12-by-12 inches white cardstock paper
- One colored cardstock paper
- Paper to decorate the cover
- 10 inches of ribbon
- Paper trimmer
- Hole punch
- Embellishments
- Tape
-
Step 1
Start with the white cardstock. Cut pieces that measure 3 by 5, you will cut 8 pieces out of each sheet for a total of 24. All but 2 of these pieces will be the pages of your mini tag album; the other 2 will be used to reinforce the covers.
-
Step 2
Now with the colored cardstock sheet of paper, cut 2 pieces of 3 by 5 pieces. These 2 pieces will be the front and back covers of your mini tag album. This is all you need from this paper unless you decide to do more with it later in the album.
-
Step 3
Now cut the corners off of one end at a 45-degree angle of all the white pieces and the 2 cover pieces. You may want to try this on a scrap piece of paper to make sure that you get the look you want and not cut to much off, if you don’t cut enough of the corner off just cut it again.
-
Step 4
Then you get to decorate your front cover, the back cover can be left alone or decorated if you want to. Have fun dressing up the cover with paper or embellishments--give the album your personal touch.
-
Step 5
With the 2 pieces of white paper for the cover and the 2 cover pieces, apply tape to one side of either piece of paper. Tape a white piece of paper to the inside of both the front and back cover of your mini tag album.
-
Step 6
Once the cover is done, punch a hole in the center of the narrow end on one of the pages you created. Now line up another page with the one you just punched, using the first one as a guide punch a hole in the same place on the second piece.
-
Step 7
Repeat Step 6 till all the 3 by 5 pages and covers have a hole punched into them.
-
Step 8
Finally with the ribbon, stack all the pages together and run the ribbon through them. Open the mini tag album in half and lay the middle of the album down, then tie the ribbon. Doing this will keep the ribbon loose enough so that you will be able to open the mini tag album without having to bend your pages.
-
Step 9
Now you’re finished, you can add your pictures and finish the mini tag album.
