Do you want your fresh-cut flowers to last longer than a couple of days? Well, the answer is in your medicine cabinet.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 2-3 non-coated aspirins
  • Water
  1. Step 1

Take two non-coated aspirins and put them in your vase.

  2. Step 2

Add the desired amount of water into the vase and stir until the aspirins dissolve.

  3. Step 3

Cut the stems of your flowers at an angle and put them in the vase. This should prolong the life of your flowers for a good week. I've used this method for my daisies and they have lasted 1 1/2 weeks, no kidding! See tips below.

Tips & Warnings
  • You can use coated aspirins, however, you will have to crush them first before putting them into the vase.
  • Change the water every couple of days.
