It's easy to make your own eco-friendly pesticides and fungicides. It's much cheaper and a safer alternative to chemical products. The ingredients are things you have around your house.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Mix 2 tbsp. baking soda, 1 tbsp. vegetable oil, and 1 pint of water in a spray bottle. Shake up and add 1 tbsp. castile soap. Spray on plant leaves and soil every 5 to 7 days to prevent fungus growth.

  2. Step 2

Fill a spray bottle with half milk and half water. Shake and spray on plants every 3 or 4 days. This prevents fungus growth.

  3. Step 3

Place beer in a shallow plate in your garden. The beer attracts slugs and drowns them.

  4. Step 4

Spray raw apple cider vinegar on leaves or on soil around plants. This prohibits mold growth or mildew.
