How to Make Your Own Eco-Friendly Pesticides

It's easy to make your own eco-friendly pesticides and fungicides. It's much cheaper and a safer alternative to chemical products. The ingredients are things you have around your house.

Things You'll Need:

• 2 tbsp. baking soda
• 1 tbsp. vegetable oil
• Water
• Castile soap
• Spray bottle
• Milk
• Beer (any kind)
• Apple cider vinegar

1. Mix 2 tbsp. baking soda, 1 tbsp. vegetable oil, and 1 pint of water in a spray bottle. Shake up and add 1 tbsp. castile soap. Spray on plant leaves and soil every 5 to 7 days to prevent fungus growth.

2. Fill a spray bottle with half milk and half water. Shake and spray on plants every 3 or 4 days. This prevents fungus growth.

3. Place beer in a shallow plate in your garden. The beer attracts slugs and drowns them.

4. Spray raw apple cider vinegar on leaves or on soil around plants. This prohibits mold growth or mildew.
