Instructions

    • 1

To make a tuna sandwich, open the tuna can with a can opener. Drain the oil or water. If you can find tuna in water, that is the best one to purchase.

    • 2

Now, spoon the tuna into a plastic container. Then, add two to three teaspoons of mayonnaise and a teaspoon of sweet-and-sour mustard.

    • 3

With the mayonnaise and mustard on top of the tuna, take a spoon and blend them all together. This image is what your tuna mix will look like.

    • 4

Now, open the can of sliced jalapeño and mince between 5-6 slices to be added to the tuna mix for your sandwich. This image is what the tuna mix looks like with the minced jalapeño on top.

    • 5

With a spoon, blend the jalapeño into the tuna mix so it will spread on a slice of bread. This image is what the tuna looks like with jalapeño mixed into tuna.

    • 6

Once the jalapeño is blended into the tuna mix, use a teaspoon to spread the tuna onto one slice of the bread of your liking. Now, take a slice of your choice of cheese and place that one slice on top of the tuna spread on the slice of bread.

Finally, place the other slice of bread on top of the cheese slice on the other bread slice, and place it on the rack in a toaster oven. The toaster oven should be turned to the "grill" setting at 120 degrees for 5 minutes or until you see the cheese melted. Here is what the tuna sandwich looks like grilled and ready to eat. Yum, Yum!

Tips & Warnings

  • This is my personal recipe. If you want, change it to your liking, adjusting the quantity of jalapeño, mayonnaise or mustard.

  • Before you ask family or friends if they want a tuna sandwich, warn them of the jalapeño in it.
