Step1
The most obvious way to reduce the stressors in your life is to really look at your current lifestyle. Are you eating healthy and nutritiously and living a well balanced lifestyle which should include regular active exercising and physical activity. Try to eliminate caffeine in your diet. it is a stimulant and can increase anxiety and stress in your body. Also eliminate nicotine and alcohol if possible or at least manage consumption to a minimal. It is about living in harmony with both your internal and external environment.
Step2
Learning relaxation techniques will help to reduce and cope with anxiety and stress. Visualization and breathing techniques are easy and fast to learn and to incorporate into your daily routine. They can be done anywhere at home or in the office at your desk. Use nature in your surroundings, for example, you can decorate your room or office, home with lots of plants or objects from nature. Also using nature sounds and music will help to created a soothing and visual surrounding to help reduce your stress and anxiety, ego, water or bird recordings.
Step3
Meditation is another wonderful method to reduce and manage stress. Learning the technique of meditation will help you calm your inner being and your mind and will actually give your brain a "mental vacation" so that will enable you to find some rest and peace. Most of the time we live such rapid and hectic lives and we place such enormous mental stress on our bodies and mind that we find ourselves over-worked and our brains conditioned to being over-active, ie, we literally don't know how to rest our minds and find any inner peace. Meditation will help you regain control of your" peace of mind" again and this in turn will help you reduce your stress levels and think more clearly and function more efficiently and happier.
Step4
Learn to communicate and talk about your problems. family, friends, professional healthcare givers are a good support network to have to help you handle your anxiety and stress. Also learning to have humor in your life is a great tool and therapy to reduce stress. There are many online sites that will help you handle stress and online groups that you can join so you can talk with others who are going through the same experiences as you are with stress and anxiety.
Step5
Learn to change your thought and conditioned behaviors. Eliminate negativity in your life and try to become more positive and open to the choices that you can have in handling your stress.
Step6
Financial stressor is usually a major source of stress in people's lives. Learn ways to handle your finances so you are able to cope with any situations that might occur in your life. Learn to save on a monthly basis and have enough for at least three months reserve. DON'T overspend and keep a budget.
