Lemon- based Salad Dressing

If you love a good salad, one you make at home, then why not make your own salad dressing to go along with your salad? This lemon-based salad dressing is a wonderful way to liven up your salad and not add too many calories to your already, sometimes, calorie-filled salad. Read on to learn how to make a lemon-based salad dressing.

From Quick Guide: Salad Recipes
Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Three to four lemons
  • Salad dressing cruat bottle
  • Nature's Seasoning seasoning blend
  • Vinegar
  • Measuring spoons
  • Measuring cup
  • Juicer (if you want to use it)
  1. Step 1

First, go to your local grocery store, pick out three to four lemons, not lemon juice in those lemon looking plastic bottles. Also, look for Nature's Seasons Seasoning Blend with no MSG.

  2. Step 2
    Sliced lemons

Once at home with your salad making ingredients, cut three or four lemons in half. This recipe takes three lemons, but if you want more lemon juice than vinegar, use all four lemons. That is up to you.

  3. Step 3
    Lemon juice

With cut lemons, either squeeze then onto your juicer or hand squeeze them into your measuring cup. The lemon seeds will all fall into the measuring cup, in order for the seeds to not be added to the salad dressing, place your fingers over the spout so only the juice falls into the cruat bottle.

  4. Step 4
    Good Nature seasons

The squeezed lemon juice should now be filled to the W line on the cruat bottle. With your measuring spoons, add 2 tsp. of Good Nature Seasons to the bottle. Place to top on the bottle with spout closed and shake well.

Finally, add olive oil to the O line on the cruat bottle. Shake the bottle well with lid closed and tight over bottle. If the dressing is too lemony for you, add a little more vinegar. Now, that was easy to make and this is good for you and your whole family too.

Tips & Warnings
  • Make this dressing the same way all the time and you will be happy.
  • If you do not like vinegar, make sure to add vinegar to the proper line only.
