Valentine's Day is one of the most commercial holidays of the year. It's easy to get caught up in all the hype and spend more money than you should have on this lovely day. If you want to save some money but still give a gift to the person you love, follow these tips.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Old photos
  • Music
  • Candles
  1. Step 1

Have you ever noticed that babies are born nine months after a blackout? There has to be a reason. Candle-lit spaces add romance, so turn the lights of and light candles. To add more atmosphere, turn on some music.

  2. Step 2

Take out a photo album of old pictures and reminisce about the great times you have had together. If you have a big television set and a DVD player you could even burn pictures onto a disc and watch them that way.

  3. Step 3

Use the pictures to talk about the first time you met, how you felt then and what it was like getting to know one another.

  4. Step 4

If you are married and have a wedding tape, watch it together and restate your vows.

Tips & Warnings
  • Give gifts from your heart and not your wallet.
