Things You'll Need:
- access to Bookworm
- ability to spell
-
Step 1
AddingTry to make most words at least 5 letters. Watch for letters you can use to extend words (ed, s, es, ing, er, ly, ier).
-
Step 2
Clear out difficult letters quickly (X, Z, V, Qu), even if you use a three-letter word. Don't let these reach the bottom where you might struggle to use them with a burning tile.
-
Step 3
Memorize words that you can use with the difficult letters.
J - jag, jab, jee, jest, jade, jell, jeed, joke, jog, jow, jane, jet, jato, jun, haj.
Qu - quin, quart, quey, quate, quag, quid, quod, quale, quark, quoit, quai, quale, quail, quill.
X - axe, gox, rax, oxo, fox, fax, sex, sax, sox, rex, lox, tux, nix, mix, maxi, text.
Z - zap, zed, zest, zip, zig, zing, zag, zoo, zoon, zoa, biz, daze, dozen, dozier, faze, ouzo.

You'll find more by browsing a dictionary. -
Step 4
To fit the bonus word in quickly, watch for combinations of the more difficult letters included in that word. Once you have two of those together, then move tiles to get the easier letters in place.
Don't get so absorbed with the bonus word that you overlook burning tiles. -
Step 5
When you make a word, try to extend it one more letter by clicking each of the letters around it. Sometimes you get lucky with a word you never knew.
-
Step 6
Avoid using the letters below a burning tile. Using those makes the tile drop to the bottom faster.
-
Step 7
When you have a burning tile, use it to burn away a difficult letter (Qu, X, Z, V).
