Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Things You’ll Need:
Step1
Before sending out invitations, sit down with the bride to find out what she wants to do in her life. Any unique goals? Is there something she has never done but has been dying to do? Once the two of you get talking, suggest to her that her bridal shower could be a party surrounded around her goal. Take for instance, the bride wants to go rock climbing or learn to shoot a gun.
Step2
Once you settle on an event, send out invitations in the theme of the event. Make the invitations personal to the bride and share with the guests how this is a goal the bride wants to achieve. You never know, one of the guests could be a rock climbing expert.
Step3
Find a venue. If the event is learning to shoot a gun, research local shooting ranges that would be willing to have the party there.
Step4
Once you send out the invites and get a final count of who will be attending, contact the venue/instructors to let them know exactly how many will be attending.
Step5
Arrive early at the event and make sure everything is set to run smoothly. When the bride arrives, make sure the instructor knows she is the main person to please.
Step6
If you have the budget, hire a photographer (or to save money, hire a student photographer) to document the bridal shower. You want to make sure the bride has plenty of pictures to remember this special event.
