Instructions

Things You'll Need:

Candle(s)
Colored masking tape
Scissors

Step 1

Find a candle that has a smooth finish. Also, go to a craft store to find colored masking tape.
Step 2

Decide what you would like to have the candle look like. Masking tape works great as decorative stickers. You can do stripes around the candle or you can cut the masking tape to make zig zags or circles.
Step 3

Before you apply the tape, indicate on the candle where the tape will go so that it isn't crooked.

Tips & Warnings

When you get sick of the way the candle is decorated you can just peel off the masking tape.
If you burn the candle, as the candle diminishes, peel the masking tape off so that it doesn't affect the candle.
