Let the movie inspire you by creating your own "Bucket List." The list should consist of things you want to accomplish before you “kick the bucket.” Read on to learn how to make a Bucket List.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Paper
  • Pen
  • Markers (optional)
  • Highlighter (optional)
  1. Step 1

Set aside at least an hour to start the process of making a Bucket List. Remember this list is something that you will add to over your lifetime. Goals change and as you accomplish more on your list, you will be inspired to achieve more. Sky is the limit.

  2. Step 2

When the time comes to start your list, have some paper and a pen with you. On one piece of paper, write “Travel” with a marker at the top. Use additional pieces of paper for “Career,” “Family,” “Financial” and “Random.” These sections are just a start and can be expanded upon the need.

  3. Step 3

Start asking yourself questions in regards to each section. Where would you like to go before you “kick the bucket?” What would you like to accomplish in your career? Do you want a family? What do you want to do for your family? Do you want to save for a house? Have a million dollars saved for retirement? Use the “Random” section for things that don’t fall into the other sections. (Example, “Watch all of the movies on AFI’s Top 100 Movies list”).

  4. Step 4

As you go through your days here after, you will find yourself thinking of additional things you want to add to your list. Making sure goals aren’t repeated can be difficult if you are not organized. To ensure organization, make a binder or notebook of your list. If you prefer to save a tree, you can always make a list online. A great site to use is Superviva.
