It is easy to make home made foot scrubs rather then spending a lot on them at local stores. It is essential that the skin on your feet be exfoliated and soften just as the rest of the skin on your body.

        Many people do not take proper care of their feet and what would you do without them? You should treat them just as well as the rest of your body to ensure their at the best looking and feeling the best also.

        There are so many different foot scrubs and soaks on the market today but try this home made one with items that you probably have around you home to give yourself "the at the spa feeling".

        Foot soak ~

        Enough water to fill up whatever you are going to be using ( not to full, give it some room for your feet to go in without overflowing)
        5-10 mint leaves
        1 cup of sea salt or kosher salt
        1 lemon or lime sliced and placed in the water

        Let your feet soak for awhile and relax. Soak for around 10 minutes.

        Foot scrub recipe ~

        3 tablespoons sugar
        3 lemons or limes ( crushed)
        1 tablespoon sweet almond oil, lime oil any combination that you like it can be a couple different ones ( or any oil that you like the smell of)
        10-15 mint leaves ( cut up)
        1/4 cup baking soda

        Crush the lemon or lime up well using leaving of course all the pulp.
        Mix all the ingredients together.
        Massage the scrub all over your feet and work it in well.
        Rinse of with water or a washcloth emerged in water.
        Apply lotion to your feet.

        Foot soak -

        Either buy or make yourself fa nice relaxing foot rub and soak to sooth tired feet. You can make your own using one of these recipes.

        1/4 cup Epsom salts
        3 Tablespoons of any oil
        Dried lavender
        2 drops of peppermint oil (for after)

        Add together the salt, lavender and oil and gently mix together.
        Rub the mixture onto your feet in a circular motion.
        Now fill the tub or a good sized bowl with warm water into it and soak your feet for 10 minutes.
        Now apply a drop or two of peppermint onto your feet.
        Pat your feet dry with a soft towel.
        Apply a good moisturizer to your feet.
