Things You’ll Need:
Step1
Typical signs that you are on overload and becoming burnt out are, feeling tired, loss of productivity, conflicting with yourself, use of substances like caffeine or even drugs to keep yourself awake. These are only a few signs but the most common ones to look for.
You should reduce what you have to do and space it out so you are not constantly studying. Pace yourself at a comfortable speed and take breaks often to give yourself a little break. Take a walk or talk to a fried, go out to eat, take a relaxing bath, anything that can get your mind off your studies for a little while.
Step2
Develop other interest so that you have other things to look forward to. You need to have other things then studying all the time on your mind. It is essential that you can turn of the studying and take time out for things that you truly enjoy. Work and studying is only a small part of your life. To be healthy you have to learn to separate work from pleasure.
You have to learn to balance your studies with your personal life. It may be hard to find the perfect balance for yourself, but it will be so worth it!
Step3
The most important thing is to be able to recognize the signs when you are becoming burnt out and take yourself away from the situation. Making yourself continue on when you are feeling burnt out will get you no where. You will just become more frustrated and get nothing done! Taking a break and returning to your studies later on will give you time to relax and then you can think clearly again.
