Turn on your computer. Open your word processing software. Click on the "Drawing Toolbar" either already open at the bottom or top of the blank page. If Drawing Toolbar is not open, click on "View," "Toolbar" and "Drawing." Now, you will click on the Big "A" on the "Drawing Toolbar."

  2. Step 2

Once at this window, use the first outlined box. WordArt Gallery comes in handy if you have messy handwriting.

  3. Step 3
    Choose your colors.

From here, you will now be able to use any color you want for the inside of the outlined wording for your card. Maybe, you want to use pink and red for Valentine's Day. Here is what you need to do in this photo. Double-click on the words now on your blank page. The "WordArt Gallery" toolbar will come up on the page. Now, click on the "Paint Can Icon" and it will say "Format WordArt." Here, you can fill in the wording for your card by using the colors available to you. All you do is click on the drop-down color button under "Fill" and/or "Line." If you use both "Fill" and "Line," your wording will have two contrast colors when you print the wording out for your card(s).

  4. Step 4
    Choose your font.

  11. Step 11

See, that was easy to make and only took an hour-and-a-half. Plus, a homemade card is always more personal than a store bought one, right?
