How many old dingy silver necklace chains do you have lurking in the back of your jewelry box? Get rid of the clutter and add a few new accessories to your collection for nothing. Thick mesh cuff bracelets are extremely popular because they are versatile. Read on to learn how to make a cuff bracelet out of old necklaces.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Five necklace chains
  • Jewelry cleaner or silver polish
  • A hair barrette or bobby pin
  1. Step 1

Gather your old necklace chains and give them a good cleaning. If they are silver, use a dry silver cloth and a polish or cleanser to remove tarnished spots.

  2. Step 2

Clasp all the necklaces together in one continuous line. Leave the final clasp undone so you will not complete a full circle.

  3. Step 3

Wrap the chain around your wrist fairly snug and clasp together.

  4. Step 4

If the chains are very thin and you want to secure them in place, take a decorative barrette or a bobby pin and slide it over the bracelet from front to back.
