    How to Play

Play a G Chord. If you don't know how to do this, the image will show you. The '4' represents your pinkie finger, the '2' represents your middle finger, and the '1' represents your index finger. This chord is played in the third fret of the guitar (the sections separated by horizontal lines).

  2. Step 2

Play a C Chord. The image shows you how. This chord is played on the first fret of the guitar, and when you play, be sure to not strike the largest string on the guitar.

  3. Step 3

These are the two chords for the song. Strum the G chord midway through the first line of the song: "You're a part time lover and a full time friend," and switch to the C Chord for the second line: "The monkey on your back is the latest trend."

  4. Step 4

That's it! Alternate between the two chords and listen to the song either on the movie or on the soundtrack to listen for subtleties.
