How to Close Your Netflix Account

Although Netflix is a very popular website and movie rental option, for one reason or another, members may decide to cancel their membership. If you're unclear about how to do so, follow eHow's simple steps outlined below.

1. Go to Netflix.com. If it doesn't automatically log you in to your account, click the "sign in" link and type in your username and password.

2. In the upper right corner of the next page, click the "Your Account" link. You will be taken to a page with many options, but to cancel your account, click the "Cancel Membership" link in the Account Information box.

3. Read through the terms outlined by Netflix for cancellation. If you would still like to proceed, click the box that reads, "I accept and understand the terms of cancellation and want to cancel my account." Click "Complete Cancellation," and you're all set.
