The Adobe Premiere Pro Timeline panel is where you assemble and rearrange sequences of clips. Once you have many clips in place, it is important that you know how to navigate within the Timeline panel. From within the Timeline, you can navigate using Timecode.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Once you have a sequence assembled, click the timecode value, type a new time, and press "Enter."

  2. Step 2

You can use any of the following shortcuts when entering timecode. Leave out leading zeros. For example, if you type in "0;0;20;5" it automatically becomes "00;00;20;05."

  3. Step 3

Leave out semicolons. You can type “1213” and it will become "00;00;12;13."

  4. Step 4

If you include a plus sign (+) or minus sign (–) before a number, it will move the current-time indicator ahead or back a specified number of frames. If you type in "+55," it will move the current-time indicator ahead 55 frames.

  5. Step 5

Position the Selection tool over the timecode value and drag to the left or right. The farther you drag in either direction, the quicker the timecode will change
