Step 1
First, use the Source Monitor to view the clips that you have captured or imported into your project. As you view the clips, set In and Out points for the part of each clip that you want to use in the sequence.
-
Step 2
When you are ready, click on and drag each clip to the Timeline panel. You can do this directly from the Source Monitor window to the Timeline.
-
Step 3
You may need to retrim clips once they are in the Timeline panel if you did not set In and Out points, or if you have decided to change them. You can retrim the clips in the Timeline panel using the Razor tool
-
Step 4
When you get your clips into the sequence you may find you need to adjust their speed.
-
Step 5
Next rearrange you clips how you want them to appear. You may need to move clips around, or close gaps that have appeared in the sequence
-
Step 6
Preview the sequence in the Program Monitor. If your sequence is very long, you may need to render it first, by going to Sequence, and then Render Work Area. This will allow you to play back in real time.
